Installs at C.O. or customer premise for remote access of outgoing lines to perform loop tests, signaling tests, translation and 911 testing, etc. Use DTMF signals to separate CPE from C.O. then seize and identify trunks, dial out in tone or pulse, detect incoming ring. Requires ID code for security, loop or ground start, self-diagnostics. 8 ports for 8 lines, expandable to 56 lines.
