Designed for field or CO testing, the compact, portable Model 200P Wideband TMS includes all basic analog tests needed to qualify circuits for voice, data, or broadcast transmission. The test set provides accurate measurement of level, noise, and frequency, while being able to transmit tone from a wideband oscillator independent of receive measurement circuits.

Fast test setup and display

The Model 200P features four large LCD screens to facilitate test set-up and display all test parameters and results during use. Two function screens display send and receive menus and two status screens display corresponding send and receive settings and results. Type of test, setup parameters, and test results are all displayed together.

The full complement of analog tests for efficient, day-to-day testing is included in the Model 200P. Receive section functions include level, noise, frequency, signal-to-noise, P/AR, and impulse noise measurements. The transmit section includes a powerful and flexible sinewave oscillator, which allows any frequency and level needed over the entire range to be simply keyed in and sent. Other transmit functions are slope, and P/AR signal.

Audible Testing

A high fidelity monitor speaker allows listening for progress signals and telltale audio symptoms.

Controls and Connectors

Conveniently arranged buttons and keypad speed test setups. To save time and avoid erroneous results, the test set prevents entry of values that are not appropriate to a function. A selection of 310 jacks, binding posts, and sleeve holding jacks for both send and receive functions offer greater flexibility.

Dial and Hold Capability

With this standard dial and hold feature, the user can dial out through the 200P, which will then hold the circuit. Send and receive functions can be reversed with the touch of a single key.

Battery Powered - AC Rechargeable

The Model 200P is powered by lead-acid rechargeable batteries (included as standard), which provides a full day's testing on a single charge. A power save feature automatically puts the test set in sleep mode after ten minutes of signal loss. Low battery indicator LED comes on when 30 minutes of operating time remains.
